Nathan celebrated 100 days of school...100 days smarter!

Preston loved his Valentine card from Grandma & Grandpa Cruzan. The kids were so excited about their special Valentine card & treats from all of our friends and family! Thanks!

Brian took the whole family on a little family Valentine outing to the Airplane Restaurant. Playing in the cockpit was the most fun for the kids. What a cool surprise!

The kids enjoyed their Valentine parties at school and Courtney was especially thrilled with her Golf Valentine! She was disappointed on Groundhog's Day because the shadow meant spring was not here yet and she has to wait even longer to play golf. She points out every golf course to us as we drive around town.

On Thursday, Grandpa Layne & Grandma Lani arrived from Utah! Grandpas make the best horses. Hailey even made sure to take good care of her horse by feeding him some carrots!
Friday was a busy day...we got to see our Great-Grandpa & Great-Grandma Waite and Aunt Julie & Uncle Willy. We had a very nice visit. My Grandpa Waite is 90 years old. He is so darling! When he gets around the kids he gets a twinkle in his eye and loves to hear them laugh. It was so cute to see him try to teach Nathan to whistle. I love the picture of Hailey cuddled up with my Grandma Waite. Grandma just turned 80 and is so loving and thoughtful. She is always sending cute little things in the mail for holidays. It was good to spend time with them.

Saturday was a fun-filled Valentine's Day! The kids woke up to their "Heart-Attacks". We then went and had breakfast with the Cruzan Clan. A lot of our family had converged on Colorado Springs for the exciting event of the day....
...Gerald & Jessica's Wedding! It is great to see Jessica so happy and the commitment they have made as a family. We all had so much fun dancing at the reception. Sydney & Courtney led the conga line around the dance floor - and there's a picture of Preston taking a turn around the floor with the bride.

Even with all the excitement of the week - one of the MOST exciting events of the week was when the doorbell rang and it was the FedEx man!! He was delivering my first Blog Book! I took Audra's advice and went to blurb.com and had my 2007 blog printed and bound into a book. I LOVE IT - and the kids love it too!! I can't wait to get 2008 finished! I would recommend it to all of you bloggers out there!
On tap for this week...a visit to the cardiologist, therapy, dentist appointments, visiting teaching, working with 3rd grade reading groups, school and tonsils being removed on Friday....wish us luck! :)
