Our Happy Harvest
Brian brought in almost everything from the garden to save them from the frost. We were so happy to bring in 12 pumpkins for Halloween and lots of squash and tomatoes. Check out the weight on our biggest banana squash! Preston was very excited about the mini watermelon - small but sweet.

Special Weekend

Twice a year we enjoy the General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We were uplifted and instructed. The announcement of the Rome, Italy Temple was especially meaningful to our family. My brother and I were both born in Vicenzia, Italy and Brian served in the Italy, Milan mission. The faithful members of the church there have been traveling to Switzerland to attend the temple. Brian has already promised me that he will take me to the Rome Temple someday. You can listen to the General Conference HERE.

Pumpkin Patch

We had a little outing to the Happy Apple Farm for a ride out to the pumpkin patch with the Stahrs. It was nice of them to let the kids help them find their pumpkins since we weren't getting any for ourselves. Then we enjoyed lunch & play time before naps. Thanks for the super fun day!

Carmel Apples with Cousins
Camille & kids drove out for Fall Break. We got sweet & sticky making carmel apples...one of my favorite fall treats!

Our Zoo Outing
12 kids, 2 moms and a bunch of animals. One of the great highlights of this fall break was going to the zoo with our friends the Martins. It was the most gorgeous weather and a fun time! Can't wait to do it again.
Fun with Friends
We've been friends since we lived a few houses apart at Vandenberg AFB. Sydney and Sarah were about 4 years old then. We enjoyed a wonderful friendship. As happens in the Air Force, we moved away and they moved away, but we've always kept in touch. We're so lucky to live nearby again...unfortunatly, not just down the street, but about 1 1/2 hour drive. We always have such a great time together. The kids played and played as Audra and I worked on our crafty projects. She is very talented in so many different things. Thanks for the visit guys and the fun pictures! And the week wouldn't be complete without having our rationing of carmel apples....

Well, it's back to school tomorrow for the kids and get the house back together for me. It's been great kiddos! I love all the fun time we've had together. Love you!
