Come Back on Monday

Today I slept in, and then we realized that the Agenzia della Entrata (Revenue Office) was only open until 1:30, so we decided to head down to the office to see if we could get our Codice Fiscale.  This card is required to rent an apartment, which is required to get a visa.  Yes, you have to rent an apartment first before you can get a visa to live here.  Anyway, it was over an hour bus ride to get there, but we found the office, and they told us that we needed to come back on Monday at 8 a.m. because it was too close to closing. We got the forms that we need to fill out and also made photocopies of our passports.  It will be good to have those ready for Monday.  We walked back to our bus stop and found a shop nearby that sold all kinds of different things. It was packed with totally randomness, but they had a soccer ball, so we bought that to play with Preston. We got to our second bus stop but couldn't find where to get the bus pick up, so we walked for a while to the next stop. It was nice weather and fun walking the streets of Rome.

When we got home, we had the kids get their shoes on, and we went to the nearby park to play soccer. Brian talked to some ladies that were there taking elderly people. They had come from Romania 15 years ago. We had fun playing soccer and being at the park. There were millions of these ladybug looking bugs.  But they weren't ladybugs.  We walked back to the apartment, and I laid down on the bed and took a nap. I was so exhausted.

We just ate what we had in the fridge for dinner and then had scriptures. We had fun watching two episodes of Studio C. Good to laugh!  Progress made today!

Little Italian Tidbit:  Something I love about Italy is that the price you see on the price tag is the price you pay. Two scoops of gelato for €2 that's exactly what it is. And you also don't have to worry about tipping. It's part of servers job pay.
