So our Saturday started off with Nathan's first T-Ball game.
It all started off well with Nathan standing in right field. After a few minutes, he dropped his glove and refused to put it on again.
After that, this was the position he played for the rest of the game. Maybe next game...or next year....
Next was Courtney's game. The team gets to vote on a team name. She is the only girl on her team so the "Transformers" won out. The other players told her that she could be the pink transformer since she's a girl.
Courtney had some awesome hits.
She was a little hesitant in the field to get the ball unless it was coming directly to her but then she gained more confidence as the game proceeded. I found out later that Brian had told her that he'd give her a quarter for every time she ran to get the ball and threw it to first. Bribery?? Motivation??? Well, it worked.
Then Sydney's game was that afternoon. She had a good hit and even played catcher for one inning. What a tough little trooper!
It was a hot day but fun to see the kids play and cheer them on.
